My favorite bestie BLC over at The Company She Keeps tagged me to list my 5 favorite movies of all time. Those who know me know that I'm a movie fanatic. I go to the cinema at least once a week usually (I've not been in about a month! Eek. Must remedy!) and if I have a free evening I almost always pop in a DVD to watch.
Since I have a TON of favorite movies, I'll take a page out of BLC's book and do categories. Here we go:
- Childhood Musts: Beauty & The Beast, The Wizard of Oz, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins (Clearly I love me some Julie Andrews.)
- Chick-Flicks: Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, Bridget Jones Diary (& sequel), Gone with the Wind, A Roman Holiday, Breakfast at Tiffany's, My Fair Lady (i.e. Anything with Audrey.)
- (Soon-to-Be) Husband Approved: All the Jason Bourne Movies, Brief Encounter, The Talented Mr. Ripley, An Education, The Young Victoria
- Sandra Bullock Favs (Yes. She gets her own category.): A Time to Kill, Speed, The Net, Miss Congeniality (& sequel), Practical Magic, Two Weeks Notice, The Proposal, Crash. (Can we tell who my favorite actress is?!)
- Holiday: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Miracle on 34th Street, Elf, Smokey-Mountain Christmas (What, it has DOLLY in it!!), A Christmas Carol.
