I am finally here in the land of tea and crumpets... both of which I had for breakfast, interestingly enough!
I landed around 7:30PM last night and we headed straight to McDonald's for a fancy dinner of Big Macs and Coke zeros (Clearly PB knows how to show a girl a good time!) Perfect! I literally had NOT slept Wednesday night before my flight so I was really tired and passed out while we were watching Shakespeare in Love, which I haven't seen in forever. I slept until around 6AM, which was IMPRESSIVE! Then we got up and PB fixed breakfast and started work (he works from home when he's not traveling.) I took a shower and sat down to do a blog post and fell asleep for about 3 hours. I guess I was more tired than I realized!
So today I'm going to unpack everything and get organized. We have a really exciting weekend in London planned. On Saturday we're going to dinner at Clos Maggiore and then we have 3rd row, center tickets to see Chicago. We're staying in the city and then Sunday we'll go to Harrod's (and maybe I can talk PB into taking me to the London Eye, which I still haven't been up in) and then we'll be heading back to Reading. Monday I'm going to start this huge project that I still have outstanding for Trusts and Estates. I'm going to try to pound it out in one week, so I can edit until June 7th when it's due.
Sorry I've been absent! I was crazy busy with exams and packing. Now that I'm in England and almost done with school stuff (stupid project) I'll be back to blogging more frequently!
