PB and I headed into London Saturday morning for the weekend. Even though he only lives about a 25-30 minute train ride away, he thought it would be nice to just stay overnight. We stayed in Mayfair at The Intercontinental Park Lane (which is where we've stayed a few times.) They were sweet and upgraded us to an Executive Suite overlooking Hyde Park and the Duke of Wellington's London House.
After we checked in we got ready for our belated Birthday night out. PB's birthday was in April, and mine was a couple of weeks ago, but we had not celebrated together. PB wore a summery linen suit and I wore a new black dress with my favorite hot pink heels.
We went for a FANTASTIC romantic dinner at Clos Maggoire followed by 3rd row center seats to Chicago at the Cambridge theatre.
We walked back to the hotel and had a Manhattan and a Blueberry Martini respectively before heading to bed. This morning I slept in until 11AM (which is UNHEARD of for me, but I think I'm still adjusting to the time change). We checked out and headed to Harrods where we had an amazing lunch at Laudree and did some shopping. We had a quick train ride home and then I started on my big project, which might be the death of me. Tomorrow brings errands and work on the project.
Tuesday and Wednesday we'll be filming our episode of "To Buy or Not to Buy"!!!!
