It's been a while since I did a Weight Watchers post! I've been slowly but steadily losing. I've found the more I've lost the slower it goes. So, what have I been doing to get back on the WW Fit Train?
I have been:
- Tracking everything I'm eating (Done everyday this week!)
- Working out daily (Done everyday this week!)
- Trying to keep "treats" down to once a day (Still need to work on this... Oops.)
- Trying to curb my addiction to Starbuck's Morning Buns (NONE this week!)
- Eat more vegetables (Still need to work on this)
- Trying to drink at least 64 oz of water everyday (I keep forgetting my water bottle, so I haven't been good at this!)
How have I been doing weight wise?
Pretty decent. I had a loss of 1.6 this week for a total of 88.5 lost. Only 1.4lbs to go to hit 90! I'm going to work really hard to hit it by next Saturday. (Because Sunday we're indulging in the Grand Buffet at The Four Seasons Boston and I want to be able to sample everything! Goodbye flex points!)
I've been busting my butt at the gym. I signed up for the "Sizzling Summer Shape Up Bootcamp" which started this week. It meets 2x a week for an hour. After the first session I could barely move! I was seriously hobbled. I forced myself to go to the gym the next day anyway. I tried doing the Stairmaster but after 10 minutes my legs were screaming again. I switched to the bike for 40 more minutes. The second session was a little better but I pulled my hamstring... I'm falling apart!
I also went to a drop in ballet class this week at the Boston Ballet. I took dance from the age of 2 through high school (and into college). However, that was a LONG time ago. I was fine at the barre and remembered all the positions, moves, etc. I was able to hold my relevés and my calves didn't seize up. However, the minute we got into the center of the room, I fell apart. I was a bit of a mess! I couldn't remember where my head and arms were supposed to be and the instructor only showed us a combination once before we had to do it. Suffice to say it will take a little time to get back into the swing of it, but it was really fun and I had a great time! I'm going to keep going once a week until I move to England.
I have 40 more lbs to lose to hit my goal. I WANT to do that my December, so I'm going to be super strict from here on out. I've decided that when I hit 100 lbs lost, I'm going to do a HUGE giveaway! Like seriously HUGE. I'm going to give away a basket of all my favorite healthy products... including workout clothes!
Now, tell me, how have y'all been doing?
Anyone else doing WW?
What is your workout routine?
