I've never really done an "Outfit of the Day" post or anything like that, but the other night when I was laying out some outfits for packing, I snapped a pic of a couple that I was kind of proud of... Again, please disregard the Copa Cabana bedding - I live on an island ladies - No Crate & Barrel - No Pottery Barn - No Macys... Just slim pickins!
These are two dresses I plan to wear during the wedding week or on the honeymoon for either dinners or nights out. These things are not very new, but hardly worn and I LOVE them - I also rarely get dressed up here as there's nowhere very dressy to go most of the time...
Outfit #1:
I bought this dress last October for a CISPA Gala (Accounting Organization that Mister belongs to) at Pedro St. James (an old Caribbean Castle type structure for events). We were invited about a week before, which is typical on the island - no advanced notice! I had nothing and bought this baby at one of the stores here... for a pretty penny, I might add. I'm guessing it costs about 3 times the cost in the US, but it's pretty, it was an emergency, and you'll always get a lot of miles out of an LBD!!! I've lost a lot of weight so it looks better on me now then it did then (I was squeezed into it before with some serious spanx underneath!) and I've gotten some better accessories for it along the way so it's like a whole new outfit!!!

Close-up of the jewels: M bought me this set for Christmas - I've been saving it for wedding festivities since it's Pink and Purple - Our wedding colors!!! But also because we haven't been anywhere since that's nice enough to warrant fancies like these! Pretty!!!
Outfit #2:
This is the dress I got for the Christmas Party for Mister's firm. I love this dress and am happy it still fits, but will have to take it for some alterations soon if I keep losing weight! YAY!!!
