Disney Honeymoon - Part 1

So nearly 2 months later, I'm finally getting around to posting a few of our many honeymoon photos. I've narrowed it down, though there are still loads, but there's no way in h e double hockey sticks I'm gonna compress and edit then load nearly 800 photos - so here's some highlights of our wonderful honeymoon!

Our hotel - The Grand Floridian Spa and Resort

When we checked in we were greeted by a card from Mickey & Minnie with a photo in it and a lovely bottle of Champagne!

This year Disney has a Celebrate You! theme and they gave us these badges to wear for the entire trip. Everyone who saw the badges wished us congratulations and sometimes it scored us a freebie or two! It made it really fun though it did get annoying after a while having 100+ strangers wishing us well throughout the day...

This is Narcoosie's - our favorite restaurant which was right outside our door! It has a view of the Magic Kingdom and you can watch the fireworks between courses while sipping a glass of the good stuff! NICE!

We arrived at the hotel around 3:30 in the afternoon so once we were settled, we made our way to the Magic Kingdom to hit the ground running with some fun fun fun!!! Mister Julep had never been before and I was super excited to show him around!

Celebrate You parade!

It was nearly July 4th and all the America-themed goods were out in the stores! I was soooo glad to be in the good ole US of A for a few weeks!

PINK!!!

The night parade, SpectroMagic!

On our first morning, we decided to order breakfast into our room!

We both opted for the Mickey Waffles with bacon and fresh strawberries - it was DELICIOUS!!!

Disney's Hollywood Studios

I got some Mickey flip flops when my feet started hurting - aren't they cute? And have a look at my "Something Blue" toenails!

High School Musical - I must say, this show was pretty cheesy...

We went for a leisurely lunch at the Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios. It was pretty good, but nothing too exciting.

On the second night, we had dinner at The Yachtsman Steakhouse. It was quite possibly one of THE WORST dining experiences I have EVER had in my life! It was expensive and the food was sooo bad, not to mention the ridiculously HORRIBLE service!!! Pink Julep does NOT give her seal of approval to The Yachtsman Steakhouse - if I had extra hands it would be 10 thumbs down!

The following day we had lunch at the restaurant in Mexico at Epcot - ALSO TERRRRRRRIBLE!!! It was so bad that we didn't eat it and my very sweet husband complained to the manager for the first time in his life! The food came out in like a minute 1/2 - like the had it sitting out and then nuked it for a second. It was expensive, cold and disgusting. I don't recommend it.

We also did a lunch one day at The Rainforest Cafe and it was AWESOME! Neither of us had ever been before and it was not only really fun, but also very yummy food!!!

About the 3rd day when we came back to our room, the housekeeping staff left us this!!!

Stay tuned for the rest and then thank goodness! I'll get back to normal posting - looking forward to it!
xoxo,
Pink Julep!
