Never-ending NEEDS!

Do you ever feel like you don't REALLY want to spend money but daily there is something that you actually just NEED? I'm running into that problem lately. I'm trying to curtail my spending but I feel like every day I discover things that I actually NEED and not that I just want.

Here's my ever-growing list... What's on your list of needs?

Nalgene Splashguard
$2.95 at REI
Do I actually want to go buy this? No.
Do I need it? After trying to drink from my Nalgene on the stairmaster last night and spilling half all over myself, I say Yes. Yes I do need one of these.

Timex Sport Ironman's Watch
I own ONE watch. The white beauty I received for my birthday last year. It is completely inappropriate and inefficient to wear when working out.
I really need a watch to help me time intervals while doing my 10k training and also this would be handy if I want to swim laps.
This may be ugly but it's what I need to keep building up my fitness!
(PS- I'm in LOVE with this Adidas workout watch, but for double the price? I think not.)

BRAS!
So I've lost 62 pounds (and counting!) and yet I have only purchased ONE new bra.
Hm. This seems like a problem.
I was chatting with a bestie the other day on bbm, dropped my phone, bent down to pick it up and both of my girls fell out. I really, really, REALLY don't want to spend money on bras, but Stacy and Clinton would kill me if I didn't pony up and get re-fitted with new bras ASAP. (I think I also an reluctant because I think I've lost about 2 cup sizes and it makes me sad!!!!)
I'm a big fan of this one... I see a few of these pretties in my future!
(But I secretly am going to buy one of these... Will make me super busty again. YES!)

Gym Bag
I have been using this adorable JCrew navy polka dot bag for about 5 years now. It's cotton canvas... and therein lies the problem. Have we discussed how much I sweat when I go to the gym? After 30 minutes on the stairmaster (not to mention the hour of weights afterwards) my top and bra and half my pants are literally soaked through. I've been averaging about 4/5 days at the gym a week. Usually I put the wet, stinky clothes into my gym bag and head to school. By the time I get home at night I have a wet, smelly, slightly moldy mess of a bag!

I've fallen in LOVE with the Lululemon Victory Duffle. The inside is made of water proof material, it has lots of zippered pockets and little bags to put wet stuff in and it's TOTALLY cute! At $55.00 it is reasonably priced and I certainly would get enough use out of it to justify the purchase. Would I rather spend $55 toward a ruffley new dress? Yes, but for the sake of my locker and my nose I NEED this.

Everyday Shoes
My everyday cute but somewhat preppy sneakers are on deaths doorstep. I do so much walking that if I were to wear my cute flats every day I'd burn through them in about a minute. (As evidenced by my almost hole in the bottom of my black Tory Burch flats.) I really need a cute, easy pair of every day shoes that I can walk in and that is inexpensive.
I think these Tom's would do the trick and at $44 they won't break the bank. Cute, comfy and they donate a pair of shoes to people who need one for every pair you purchase. I wear lots of black and white tees with jeans, so I think this grey pair would be a perfect neutral color to go with everything!
(Even if I would rather be putting the money toward a new pair of Tory Burch flats!)
