Anyway, on my last single Friday on the island, I'll be going to Spa Esprit for an eyebrow wax followed by... The Ultimate Indulgence Package!!!! This faboo package includes the facial of my choice (either regenerating or aroma-therapy), a 1 hour massage and a mani/pedi! Just what I need to unwind and relax before getting on the plane at 7am on Saturday morning! I'm soooo excited! And the weekend before, I'll have my final haircut and highlights done - I'm gonna be so pampered! YAY!!!!
There will of course be a facial or two between now and then and perhaps a pedi or two as well in preparation for the big day! I feel confident in my state at the moment, however I can't be too careful - that day we'll be photographed for the photos we'll see in various houses every holiday for the rest of our lives, including ours! Better make sure I'm spot on in the beauty department!
In the meantime, I've been extra good about washing my face before bed, doing at-home masks and facial treatments, deep conditioning my hair and using my body weight in moisturizers! I hope it works!!! And I must say, I'm very impressed with the products from the Tea Tree Oil line at The Body Shop that I purchased a while back - I'm still having breakouts, but not nearly as bad and these products feel like you're having a real spa facial every morning in your own bathroom! Cha cha!!!
A note about The Devil in the Junior League - I've received quite a few comments on my post about the book. It's not the worst book I've ever read - I think I might just not be in the 'mood' for it right now. I don't want to discourage anyone from reading it - you might like it. Also, I'd like to clarify that while I have no interest in beige most of the time (I'm more of a Pink girl in case you hadn't noticed) I am not in any way implying that The Junior League or anyone associated with it is boring - the main character in the book is a little straight-laced for my taste, but I think that's part of the comedy of it. Many of my favorite bloggers are Junior League Gals and they're anything but boring... just wanted to put that out there in case anyone misread what I meant... And I think people who have time and patience for volunteer work have a fast pass to Heaven and I give y'all mad props!
Anyway, since I put that down, I've finally gotten around to starting this book.

I'm on like page 10 or something and it's already fabulous and hilarious! I love this guy and I feel it's appropriate to read this now if I want to "generally be better than everyone else" (quote from the title) at my wedding! I'll let y'all know how the rest of it is!!!
xoxo,
Pink Julep!
