Okay, so even though I heard this movie wasn't so great, when it finally came to the island, I dragged hubby out to see it... and it's good fun! I wouldn't say it's great, but it's certainly funny and a good chick flick! I was in a horrible mood and it cheered me right up!!! It's your typical light fluffy film based slightly on Taming of the Shrew, but it is set in Ireland which is backwoodsy and gorgeous all at the same time. And Matthew Goode is GORGEOUS!!! And Amy Adams... well she's adorable and talented and you just wanna pinch her cheeks cause she's so darn cute! Leap Year won't change the world... it wouldn't even change the cinema, but if you need a good renter one evening on your own with a pint of Chunky Monkey or with gal pals and Cosmos, this a great choice!
