Last night my mother dragged me to see Adam Lambert. Now, I have to admit that I did not watch him on American Idol and the only thing I've ever heard him sing is "Whataya Want From Me" and "Mad World." I went because she got me an extra ticket and frankly I had nothing better to do with my time. So... what did I think?

He was AMAZING! His vocal ability is insane. I usually expect artists to sound worse in person than they do on their CD. He was WAYYYY better in person.
The music. Oh the music. It's like Boy George meets Lady Gaga. I died. And the glitter. OHHHH The glitter. He and his dancers had glitter all over their faces and bodies and his mic and the dancers sticks were all covered in black glitter. It was visually stunning! It was legit like a cross between Cirque de Soleil and David Bowie in Labriynth.
I forgot my camera (moron) and so I couldn't take any pics but the venue was tiny so we were really able to see everything. I honestly can't put into words how great he was! I'm a BELIEVER! Below is a video I pulled from YouTube that was taken at another concert (You might want to open the link into a new browser because my blog cuts off half the picture). This was by far my FAVORITE song he performed. It was almost just like this video but he had more glitter at our concert! ME GUSTA!

PS: I bet you're wondering what "Sparklecows" are... Well let me enlighten you. According to my mother it is a term in the Adam Lambert fan world for the middle aged women who stalk Adam by going to all of his shows dressed up with glitter and sparkles on their faces.
That's right kittens.
Mama's in the know.
An intervention is not needed for her... well not quite yet... I told her the minute she buys glitter and black nail polish I'm calling A&E.
