When I showed M my choice of dress for the rehearsal dinner, his response was less than flattering - but as always, he's completely honest and usually right in his opinions. He's like having my very own Clinton Kelly at times - not that he's totally gay, but he's not afraid to tell me, yes, those earrings make your butt look big. Well, ever since his less than excited reaction to my rehearsal dress and cardi, I've been a little stressed about what to wear. So I made a little purchase today that I hope will fix this problem. I LOVE the maxi dress - it makes me look long and lean - truly flattering on a tall girl!!! You can imagine my excitement when this was e-mailed to me from Express:
So I took the plunge and ordered it. In the meantime, I will also have the pink Gap dress altered just in case - it's risky to put all my eggs into the online order basket, seeing as how I won't be getting this dress until about 4 days before the wedding. If it totally sucks or doesn't fit, I'll be SOL, unless I have a back-up... which I will. So problem solved.I did see this dress in Express, but it wasn't my size. Looked SOOOOO cute!!! I hope it works out okay!
I also picked up this - I have this shirt in white, black and a purple color - LOVE IT!!! It's perfect for our weather here and fits me beautifully, so since it was on sale, I snagged yellow...
And PINK of course!!!Back to work tomorrow, then off again on Wednesday for voting day. We can't vote here of course, so we'll just have a day off which is nice. We spent most of the day today at the pool! We're getting nice tans living here. I'm nursing a horrible headache today, so will be in bed soon - can't seem to shake this one...
