Getting to know Me (it's a Sunday ritual) ~ Free beauty collection

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! As you know I had class Friday and Saturday, which surprisingly wasn't too bad! My mom and I went out yesterday and did a little shopping (I will post my goodies soon!) But today is Sunday and that means another installment of 'Getting to know YOU!'

1. Why did you start blogging?

I've mentioned this before, but my friend Lauren convinced me to start blogging. She told me about all these great 'blogs' that she had found and been following. When she said that I was like 'What the heck is a blog??' So, I started doing my research and clicking around and was hooked pretty fast! I haven't been blogging very long (since October) but it has been such an experience so far, and I have met so many wonderful people! Thank you Lauren for convincing me!

2. Who's the one blog friend that you would want to meet most in "real life"?

There is no way I can pick just one! I would love to meet all of you so much! A bloggy friend and I do have a little something in the works, though, for a possible bloggy meet-up this summer!!

3. Why are you always concerned with losing that "extra 10 pounds" when chances are your husband/boyfriend/friends tell you that you look just fine the way you are?

I'm really not preoccupied with the 'extra 10 pounds.' Sure it would be nice to lose 10 pounds but I don't let it bother me. I'm pretty satisfied the way I am.

4. What's the one thing you wish guys could understand about you?
Well, I'm pretty much an open book, but I do wish they understood that I'm not a spoiled brat. Ok ok, so I might by spoiled but I'm not a brat.

5. Tattoos. How many do you have and how many are visible when you wear your "everyday" clothes?

I don't have any ink actually. But if I was getting one I think I would get it on the top of my foot.

6. What was the best year of your life and why?
Oh geez, this is a tough one. Well, we all know that last year was kinda sucky for me. I'm going to be a serious optimist right now, and go with this year. I think this year is going to be a great year for me. One of my best friends is getting married, I'm finishing my first year of grad school, I'm finishing my first year at the school where I work. Yea, this is gonna be a good one.

7. Name three things you would do if you were a man for one day.
Make sure I put the seat down, be a gentleman, make dinner for my girlfriend/wife

8. What's your alcoholic drink of choice that usually raises a few eyebrows?

I don't live on the edge with my drinks. 'A mojito, please' is what you will always hear me say. Unless, of course, the restaurant has good sangria. Those are my drinks of choice, they don't raise eyebrows, but they're not boring either!
