Wedding Inspiration by Pink Julep
With our wedding just a little over 5 short months away, I am thinking more and more about it - there is still a lot of planning to do! After seeing countless Polyvore sets on blogs (thanks for the idea girls) I decided to sign in and try it out - I wanted to put together an Inspiration Board if you will - like interior designers use when starting a project. I had to do this once for a set design class in Drama School and thought it would be perfect to refer to as we move further in making plans/decisions for the wedding - and I thought I'd share it with all of you!
In case you can't tell, our colors are fuschia and deep purple - Pink is my favorite color, but I didn't want the wedding to look like a flamingo threw up all over it so most things will be purple, but there will be hot pink roses as a POP of color! We're also having a candy buffet and I like to think that our theme is "fun" or "whimsical" - there is definitely a strong presence of polka dots as I love them and think they are classic - there will also be traces of Willy Wonka and a feeling of the 50's & 60's about it, particularly with music!
Will keep you all posted on the progress from here - I'm starting to get very excited about it all!!!
