M & I have a long weekend as Monday is Discovery Day here in the Cayman Islands!!! We picked up some rentals last night and they were sooooo good I thought I'd recommend them!


Kate Winslet's Oscar is very well deserved for The Reader - this is a very good, thought-provoking movie!

And Dakota Fanning is excellent in Houndog - she's a force to be reckoned with and one to keep your eye on as she grows up - she's a powerhouse as a child, so it's hard to imagine what this talented actress will be able to achieve as she gets older and masters her craft. The next Meryl Streep, unless of course she fall into that deathtrap of teen stardom rehab ridonkulousness - that would be sad!
