Thursday night, M and I went for some grub and to see Revolutionary Road. It was an amazing film, directed by Sam Mendes who is famous for directing American Beauty and Caberet on Broadway among many others! This is a tough movie to watch but soooo good! I'd love to read the 1961 novel that it's based on... it must be amazing and Vonegut commented that it was the best of his generation, or something to that effect.
The big problem that I have with this film is that LEO WAS RUDELY OVERLOOKED BY THE ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES!!! He should've won an Oscar for his amazing performance in this film. If somebody doesn't throw him an Oscar soon, I'm going to have to chain myself to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in mad protest!!!

Almost forgot - I met Preppy Sue at the airport! She and her husband are lovely and their kids are ADORABLE!!! Especially the little girl, complete with polka dot monagrammed suitcase, Lilly Pulitzer polo, and a bow in her hair! When I mentioned there were Pirates on the island, Preppy Sue asked her lil girl what she thought. Her answer was simple: "I think that's PERFECT!" So cute! Anyway, if you don't follow Preppy Sue, go visit her blog now - she's probably not posting much since she's on holidays here on Grand Cayman, but she's a doll with a great blog!!!
