I hope y'all are having a lovely weekend! We sure are! I started out by waking up early this morning... spent some time loading my rehearsal dinner playlist and some other new tunes onto my ipod so I could listen and weed out any bad choices while working out at the gym. I got to the gym this morning with a burst of energy and had an excellent workout!!!
After the gym, I'm proud to report that I finished shopping for the Stationary Swap! I sure hope my partner, the lovely Europafox will like what I've gotten for her! I've just had a blast shopping for her package! I did some other shopping as well and picked up something to give away for my 100th post which is coming up very soon!!! I got something that I think is just as fabulous as it is socially responsible - that is the only hint you're getting!
Right now I'm burning endless cd's for the welcome gift bags that will be left at the hotel for our out-of-town guests! I'm really into planning this part of the wedding. We don't have a HUGE budget for it, but I really want to do something nice for people who are travelling to our wedding. What I don't want is to spend a load of money on stupid favors that will end up in the trash!

I picked this cd kit up a few weeks ago and it's so pretty - our colors are pink and purple so it's perfect!!! It's made by Chronicle Books and it's very easy to use!
We decided against the Kentucky theme. It seemed a little one sided since M is from Ireland and also, wouldn't it be a little weird to have the KY theme even though the wedding is in Ohio? It just didn't sit well with me!
The welcome bags will look similar to this - either in pink or purple with a contrasting organza ribbon bow to tie it closed.

We don't really know how many to expect so we still have time to decide on cookies and how many to order. But the idea is that every person in the hotel will receive a small goodie bag. A little sugary treat to tide them over!
