Yes! They certainly are in the same sentence. For a Monday, today has been pretty good so far. Yes, I have lots of work to get done for class this weekend, and I had to venture to the post office, and my office felt like a walk-in freezer, but all in all it's been A-ok! And I noticed I'm almost at 300 followers?! What?! How did that happen? You all make my life so happy! I'm glad so many of you enjoy reading my ramblings!
I mentioned in my last post that my mom and I went out this weekend and picked up a few goodies! There was nothing big, just some things that brightened up my rainy Saturday!
I got this fabulous platter (it's called the Cabbage Collection) at TJ Maxx for $7.50!! It was on the clearance wall and I just fell in love! I also got a white platter for $5! It didn't photograph very well so I didn't bother posting a picture. But isn't this green one precious?!
I also picked up this beverage dispenser at Wal Mart for $6!! Can you believe that? I think it's going to be so pretty this summer with tea in it with citrus slices floating on top!
And I got this adorable dress at TJ Maxx! It was only $16! I just love a good deal :) And I love the feathery print and the 'V' in the back of the dress.
I wore it yesterday to church with the black leggings and nude pointy-toe flats.
I got these BCBG flats on really really good sale at Dillards a couple months ago.
So, how has your Monday been? Please tell me about it. Oh, and I'm thinking of starting a 'welcome to my crib segment' where I post pictures of the rooms in my house! What do you think? I've seen some other bloggers doing it and I like the bandwagon, so I'm on board!
