Unfortunately we don't have too many photos from each area... we were having so much fun we didn't bother... but this was my favorite part of Beverly Hills!
In a park on the side of the road on Santa Monica Blvd. I saw this statue and I swear, I pulled over at 4am, got out of the car and ran to take a photo!
This is a statue by my favorite artist, Yayoi Kusama! She's a Japanese artist who lives in a mental institution by choice... strange, I know. She became famous by painting her naked body in polka dots and posing for photos. Most of her art involves her famous polka dots and it's just adorably beautiful and poignant at the same time. This statue made me sooooo happy as I have never ever seen one of her statues in real life! And I didn't even know it was there!
Totally random, but this is me... sportin my new sunnies from Cole Haan! I couldn't resist these purple beauties!!!
