Organization Day: What's In Pink Julep's Bathroom?

I've been doing a lot of cleaning and organizing lately, focusing today on the bathroom and my closet. I ultimately decided to put the London picture in the bathroom where I can see it every morning before work! I hope to live in London some day, so it's inspiring as well!

Since I've seen so many posts about what people have in their bathrooms, I thought I'd share what's in mine! Beware! Hubby and I are both product whores, so this is a mega post! We start with my side of the medicine cabinet and a detailed description of my side only.

The middle of the medicine cabinet is where we keep the medicine, sunscreen and stuff for our teeth... basically anything we both use is in the middle.

Hubby's side is filled with loads of shaving products among a few other things. He's a big fan of Basin White, The Art of Shaving, Zirh, C.O. Bigelow, Alba and Khiels. He loves the Khiels eye cream for men that we found in Fred Segal. He uses it every night. His favorite colognes are Zegna and Lacoste.

I love Listerine Whitening! It totally works and I'm currently using this Redkin hairspray. It was like CI $23 and it's totally NOT worth it. When it runs out, I'll be looking for a new hairspray.

There's another medicine cabinet on the opposite wall. It's where we keep our stock... we always have extra shower gels, moisturizers and products galore! I also keep my hair supplies baske there.

The soap container holds a LUSH sugar scrub ball that I haven't tried yet and you'll find Bath & Body Works Home air fresheners all over our house. They are my favorite! They come in loads of different scents and one little spray will freshen the whole bathroom. Two sprays for a larger room. This one is Sweet Pea, one of my favorite scents!

My shower is just as full as the cupboards.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Shower Gel

Basin White Satsuma Shower Gel

LUSH Daddy-Oh Shampoo

LUSH American Cream Conditioner

LUSH Rub Rub Rub Exfoliating Shower Gel

Philosophy Purity Cream Face Wash

Some cheapo Walmart shower gel that smells amazing!

Philosophy Purity Foaming Face Wash (works better with the Clarisonic than the cream)

Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Exfoliating Face Scrub

Pantene Shampoo

Venus Breeze Razor - The only razor I'll use!

French Connection UK Exfoliating Shower Scrub

Clarisonic Face Wash

LUSH Demon in the Dark Soap

Detangling Comb (Essential for long tangled hair! I comb through my conditioner)

Frederick Fekkai Shea Butter Hair Mask

Biolage Hydratherapie Shampoo

Biolage Hydratherapie Conditioning Balm

I stuffed my Chi 2-in-1 Curling/Flat Iron and my Hot Tools Curling Iron into a drawer with, brushes & combs, my Clarisonic Mia and replacement heads.

And in another drawer, I store spare bars of soap from LUSH and Basin White, make-up sponges, cotton squares, individual face masks from Boots, Pore Strips and Cucumber Eye Pads that reduce puffiness. There are a few samples in this drawer as well that I haven't used up yet.

I managed to weed out some old make-up and fit it all into one basket. The two polka dot cups are holding brushes and pencils in one and Hair brushes in the other, including my round Olivia Garden brush, the best invention EVER!

Only LUSH soap for hand washing! LUSH products are all natural and they smell sooooo good! As many as I can have out in the bathroom, I do because they keep it smelling so sweet! It's like functional pot pouri! (did I spell that right?) This soap is called Kharma and it smells DELICIOUS!

Hubby prefers an old fashioned toothbrush, but I love my Crest Spinbrush and won't go old fashioned ever again! I use an empt Biolage tub for cotton and Q-tips. And I have to have hand cream by the sink. These are Burt's Bees Almond Hand Cream, Boots Rosemary and Walnut Hand Cream and LUSH Helping Hands.
Once I finished with the bathroom, I moved right into the bedroom and finally sorted out my mess of a closet. I have to do this about every 4 months! Here is the final result:

Last week I organized our dresser, bedside tables and my jewelry collection. I sorted out the drawers as well. It was a daunting task all together, but I'm so happy to have it all done because now I can actually find my stuff to wear it!

My bigger, chunkier pieces are in this case.

Smaller pieces, earrings and rings are in this smaller case.

Well, that's all folks! I'm beat from all this hard work and am hoping to take it a little easy this week now that everything's in order, but there's always work to do, laundry, cleaning, bla bla bla...
I'll leave you with a photo of hubby. This is what he was doing while I was slaving away! hahaha
xoxo,
Pink Julep!
