Dear LP,
While I applaud you for extending your sizes in a few style as to allow fatties (moi) to wear your lovely (but very narrowly cut) frocks (specifically, shifts), why must you stab me in the heart by sending me the new catalogue with this FANTASTIC dress on the front only to then tell me that it is only going to be available in sizes 0-10?
I meeeaaannnnn... It's a one shoulder dress with an empire waist... THAT IS A DRESS SIZES 10-14/16 CAN PULL OFF WITHOUT LOOKING LIKE HEIFERS! Why on EARTH stop it at a size 10?! Are we not worthy of purchasing a one shouldered dress with flowers and bright colors unless we starve ourselves or cut off our goods?! (Goods meaning curvies in the chest/hip/booty area) Is a size 12 or 14 shoulder not worthy of being shown off? Is a size 12 or 14's money not worth anything in the land of skinny, uncurvy Lilly?
I, for one, am outraged by this. I did not lose 60 pounds (and counting) to STILL not be able to wear a pretty, bright, summery dress! In fact, I'm the proud new owner of freaking COLLAR BONES and I'd appreciate the opportunity to show them off in all of their boniness.
I am VERY angry with you, LP, and we are not friends until you remedy this.
Fattily yours,
BP
PS- Could you also explain to me why last year I was comfortable in a certain Betsey dress and this year I can't get the Betsey in ONE SIZE LARGER zipped over my chest when I've actually lost 15 pounds since this time last year?? Mmkaythanks.
PPS- The Kaya was a LOVELY silhouette and I also would appreciate if you could bring it back because that? That was a shape made for us curvy, hourglass girls!
