(Holiday) Weekend Goodness

Only five days until Christmas! Oh my goodness!!

I hope you all were blessed with a fantastic weekend and managed to get all the last minute holiday strings tied up! As you know I spent the weekend with my dear friend Ashley frolicking around Knoxville having a simply fabulous time.

On Friday we went to a tacky Christmas party, and after reviewing the pictures I'm certain our outfits were a success! Saturday we shopped all day and met up with fellow blog friend Kate from Southern Belle Simple. What a lovely lady she is! We had the best time with you, Miss Kate!

My new Christmas motto- "Who's ready for a mistletoe scandal?!" Oh, and just so you know, I wear those pink Betsey Johnson socks and red flats on the regular. Together, they were tacky perfection.

We shopped around Market Square all afternoon with Miss Kate. We grabbed a drink at Coffee & Chocolate, had lunch at The Tomato Head and wrapped up our day by snapping a blogger Christmas card photo!

Ashley got me the most thoughtful gift! I squealed when I unwrapped it! She etched four gorgeous wine glasses with different font 'J's on each, and included a bottle of wine from Trader Joe's. Such a perfect gift!

What an incredible weekend! I feel so blessed to have such wonderful people to celebrate this special time of year with!

I have lots of Christmas goodness lined up for the blog this week, loves! I know we're all very busy with Christmas coming in just a few days, but if you're needing some inspiration please stop by!

This time change and I aren't getting along so well. I loved the extra hour of sleep, but yesterday evening I took a nap and woke up and thought it was 9 o'clock it was so dark! Geez.

I was quite busy this weekend with class and projects and feeling a little under the weather. Clearly, I have no time to be getting sick!

My recent flapper doodle order came yesterday and was bursting with goodies! I ordered the compact mirror and Holly Golightly print when Kate had a half-off sale, but I also won the calendar in a giveaway hosted by Michelle. One lovely little package showed up yesterday!

I know I've mentioned it before, but I have the best friends in the world. You all know how rough last week was for me. Trishy emailed me that first picture on Thursday, and Saturday night Lauren sent me the second quote and I immediately emailed her that photo that I've had saved for months! Such sweet pick-me-ups from my loves.

Why are weekends always too short? Especially this one! As you can imagine, this weekend was amazing! I got to be reunited with my besties, Kelsey & Lauren and had my first official entertaining gig at my new place! I definitely have the party bug now, y'all! I have so many ideas swirling around in my head about future gatherings!

So happy she got to be with me for the weekend. The only thing that would've made it better was if Lauren had been there (she wasn't able to join us until that evening) :)

This weekend was absolutely fantastic! It was great to be with the ladies from my school, my mom and my best friends. Couldn't have been better!

Homecoming Weekend

As I mentioned, homecoming weekend at the college from which I graduated is always a huge celebration. This year was no different. My two best friends stayed through the weekend and we had a fantastic time- just like we were back in college! It was the first time that many of my friends had met B which made it even more exciting!
