. . . happened upon these dreamily moody photographs of italy last week, and was reminded of all the photos from past trips still left to sort through -- some still in cameras, others on memory cards and in folders -- trips to the beach, and castles with ponds and swans and perfectly manicured gardens, the last trip to paris, and this weekend's whirlwind few days away . . .

. . . hello! . . . things have been rather sporadic around here this week, with valentine's day on monday, finishing projects, last-minute preparations, and an ever-overflowing stream of emails, but most excitingly, cases to pack and a flight to catch, and now, a few beautiful days in paris . . .

uncertain when there next will be a moment to say hello, and so, for now, a fond farewell and à la prochaine,
