. . . always and forever photographing little snippets of life -- beautiful vignettes and new french desserts, glimmering chandeliers on warm summer nights, captured in memory and forever in time, and so, completely fell in love with the concept behind creative director, jane cameron's, blog, which is filled with these little magazine moments . . .

Semi - Wordless Wednesday: Fresh Flowers

(Images via 1, 2)

***

There's nothing I love more than having my home filled with fresh flowers. They make every room seem so much brighter and more inviting. I picked up a couple bouquets before my friends came this past weekend- one for my mantle and one for the entry table. Well, lucky us, after the wedding reception on Saturday, the groom's mama told us to take one of the gorgeous centerpieces home. Ashley decided to leave her arrangement with me since she was traveling, and Lauren decided to take the mason jar but leave her flowers with me, too. I quickly found spots in the house for the two whole bunches, and ended up splitting Lauren's arrangement into little bouquets all over the house.

The wedding colors were pink and orange, and need less to say,
the flowers were stunning. . .

Do you enjoy fresh flowers, too?
What do you do to bring some sunshine inside your home?

I question not if thrushes sing,
If roses load the air;
Beyond my heart I need not reach
When all is summer there.

. . . and doesn't it seem like everything moves by more languidly and yet more quickly all at once in the summertime?

. . . sincerest apologies for the rather sporadic posting this week -- a mad, mad dash kind of day, and a quick stop to say hello and to wish family & friends, as always, in paris and the south of france {especially}, bonne fĂȘte de la bastille / happy bastille day!

Pink and Green Thursday: Lovely Little Details

(Images via Style Me Pretty)

***

Happy Pink and Green Thursday, friends!

I'm happy to be back to the regular blogging schedule this week and linking up with Trish for another fabulous blog hop. As always, new bloggers are welcome to link up and share their favorite pink and green picks of the week!

This week I'm featuring the most charming English garden wedding a hopeless romantic (like myself) ever did see. As soon as I saw this gorgeous feature on Style Me Pretty (with the overflowing bouquets, sweet bunny rabbit, boxes of goodies for the children, ice cream cones, soft color palette, and candy bar) I knew that the lovely little details would be perfect for a Pink and Green Thursday.

Click over to the gallery to review all the beautiful images.

Are you as in love as I am?

My hopeless romantic side is on overdrive these days!
