Happy Monday, everyone!

I left Wilma Flintstone in the stone age on Friday and upgraded to an iPhone. I have no explanation for what took me so long, but I'm completely in love! One of the first apps that I snatched up was Instagram. You can read my review of it here in a previous post. It's such a fun, unique way to follow the happenings of your friends and favorite bloggers. Hop on the bandwagon if you haven't already!

Monday Happies in Pale Pink

There's something about pale pinks and blush tones that set a mood of happiness and peace. Considering it's Monday again and it was far too difficult to roll out of my warm bed this morning, I can't think of a better color palette to start the week.

Here's to living the day in a haze of happy pink!

Back to School

 I was always the kid who loved the first day of school. The new backpack, the pencil box full of fresh erasers and markers, the new Lisa Frank folders in my three-ring binder, and of course, my first day of school outfit. There was never a year (even into college) that I didn't get that back-to-school giddiness that came with searching for the perfect outfit. It seems ironic to me that I ended up pursuing a career that put me right back in that atmosphere. As most of you know, I work as a school counselor, and (believe it or not) I still can't resist the excitement that comes with putting together my first day of school ensemble. While I don't put quite as much effort into it as I did in middle school, the feeling still brings me pure happiness and joy. Here's how I would style a 'first day of school' look (and it's not too much of a miss from what I actually wore last week!)

Happy Monday, friends!

As you know from Friday's post, this past weekend was lined up to be a spectacular one, and it certainly didn't disappoint. My friends and sorority sisters had a fabulous time marrying off one of our own to an adorable fella. We danced, drank, ate, and laughed the night away. I wouldn't go back to college for anything in the world, but when all of us are together again it's truly magical. It feels so good to know that there's a group of people that you can call your very own. I am one lucky, lucky girl. . .

(Oh, did I mention I caught the bouquet, too?!)

I hope it was wonderful and bursting with all the things that bring you happiness!

I've been itching to do this post for some time now and other inspirations kept popping up, and I just never got around to it. Today, however, I'm thrilled to share some gorgeous images with you that I've been archiving for a while. I'm fascinated by the little details that go into great fashion statements- a bold necklace, a stunning bag, a stack of sparkly bracelets, glossy lips, breathtaking high heels. For me, fashion is so much more than putting together what you're going to wear each day. It's all the little details that make an outfit pop and make everyone who sees you stop and take notice. . .
